    My name is Marielle Kraft, and I’m co-owner of Reina Ray Fitness. My vision for this studio is to be a space where clients can come as they are and always leave feeling better than when they arrived. My goal is to empower clients to internalize their wellness so it comes from an authentic place.

    Fun fact: I have a BBA in Human Resources Management and have been working in the field for over 10 years.

    Co-Owner & Studio Manager

    My name is Angel Pelayo and I’m studio co-owner of Reina Ray Fitness. Barre is my favourite workout because it is the perfect combination of strength and low-impact training! You will always hear me saying that the studio is my happy place, and I’m so happy to share it with our community.

    In addition to Reina Ray Fitness, I am also a Realtor® and Qualified Financial Planner of over 20 years. I have a passion for serving people, whether it’s helping them find their perfect home or plan for retirement.

    Fun fact: I played volleyball in high-school and I have a killer serve!

    Personal Trainer & Group Fitness Coach

    I have been teaching group fitness at Reina Ray Fitness since its opening in 2022. I have enjoyed growing in my teaching skills and connecting with my North Delta community. I hold a fitness instructor specialist (FIS) certification from Canfitpro as well as a certification in personal training from the American Council on Exercise (ACE). I am also a graduate from the contemporary dance training school, Modus Operandi (2022). I am am also currently working as a freelance dance artist in the city.

    I decided to pursue my Personal Training Certification because I wanted to grow my knowledge on the body, practice safe and effective training progressions, and apply my training to meet the specific fitness and lifestyle needs of my clients.

    I am passionate about fitness because:

    - It helps me understand healthy body mechanics for dancing and everyday life

    - t’s been a way for me to connect with and empower my clients

    - It’s a way for people to come together in a shared activity and motivate and encourage each other.

    My teaching style in three words: educational, energizing, and empowering.

    Fun Fact: My favourite drink is bubble tea!

    My passion for health and fitness ignited 13 years ago in response to some new health challenges I was experiencing. Changes to my lifestyle, including nutrition, daily wellness habits and working with a personal trainer completely transformed my life!

    Daily exercise became my first priority and I have taken much pride in what I accomplished with my body! That lifestyle sustained me until the long awaited arrival of my daughter, Everly. As many can relate, motherhood consumed my days (and nights) which unintentionally resulted in a lapse of commitment from my own physical fitness. I temporarily lost a piece of myself.

    That hiatus was my awakening to how important exercise was to my life, health and well-being (you often don’t miss something until it’s gone!) Armed with my true passion and a desire to motivate others on their fitness journey, I received my CanFit Pro PTS certification and joined the amazing community at Reina Ray Fitness!

    Everyone deserves optimal health and to be happy with themselves inside out. I care deeply about my clients, and find great reward in using my education and experience to assist them in attaining their health goals. My passion is to share simple and effective training routines while offering motivation and support every step of the way.

    While you strive towards all your body is capable, it’s my goal to help you achieve a happy and well-balanced lifestyle.

    Fitness has always been an integral part of my life. Started training yoga/pilates/weights in my teens while dancing with RWB. Used the cross training to become a more well rounded Ballet Dancer.

    My favourite part about teaching is watching the participants in class working to their best ability and training themselves to feel and move better.

    Fun Fact: I used to be able to hold my handstand for 1 min in my gymnastics class so that I could win a Pepsi cola. It was the highlight!

    Dance and fitness have always been vital for my mental health, and overall well being. Coming from a competitive dance background, I began teaching in my teens. After my daughter was born, I needed to find a way to bring her along with me to work. After getting my certifications, I began teaching babywearing dance fitness, and postnatal fitness classes. I fell in love with fitness, and now enjoy teaching many class formats!

    I love seeing the determination and dedication of my clients. It's so inspiring!

    Fun Fact: I have 3 kids! 10, 7, and 4 years old.

    I began my fitness journey after pregnancy as a way to reconnect with my body and rebuild strength. What started with simple at-home workouts evolved into group fitness classes and weight training. Along the way, I discovered that my back and hip pain stemmed from muscle imbalances - and that getting stronger was the key to feeling better. I realized how much functional strength and movement supports overall well-being. Today, movement is an essential part of my life, and I’m passionate about helping others discover the same strength and confidence through fitness!

    Hi, I’m Halia! I’m a BCRPA certified barre instructor and personal trainer with a background in ballet and a passion for helping people feel strong, confident, and capable in their own bodies.

    Throughout my life of being a dancer, dance taught me discipline, body awareness, and how to move with both strength and grace, and I love bringing those elements into my classes and training sessions.

    Fitness isn’t just something I do, it’s truly my passion. I’ve seen how movement can transform not just the body, but also the mind and soul. Alongside barre and strength training, I’m also a martial artist, which inspires me to train with focus, resilience, and a drive to push past limits.

    My goal is always to meet people where they’re at, support them, and create an environment that’s both challenging and encouraging. I want every client to walk away feeling empowered and proud of what their body can do.
